Dana and I met with my sister and brother-in-law tonight at a restaurant. We ordered waters and visited while our kids participated in Awana. It was late in the evening so business was slow. The only type of obvious activity was a lady wandering through the restaurant cleaning tables. As she made our way towards the table, I handed her a gospel tract and asked, "Have you ever seen one of these?" She took the tract and attempted to communicate, but it was quite obvious that she did not speak English. She walked away with a smile and then my brother-in-law informed me that most of the employees at this restaurant do not speak English. Knowing what I know now, I would have brought in my Spanish tracts. I did not anticipate my environment. When witnessing at parks, door to door, or at an apartment complex always bring along Spanish tracts. Now that I know my audience at this particular restaurant, I will be loaded with Espanol.
