Day 33- Free Bible

A few months ago, Dana grabbed a free pocket Bible from church. For the last few days I have carried this Bible with me for an opportunity such as today. On my way home from work I noticed a man walking, but he didn't look like he had a clear destination. By the time I had pulled into the neighborhood he had grabbed a seat on the steps of a church.

Me: Excused me, sir. Do you own a Bible?
John: No.
Me: Would you like one?
John: Sure.
Me: To you who is Jesus?
John: The Son of God.
Me: That's correct. If you read this book you will learn that He is the Son of God and He has done a great thing. This Bible reveals to us that we are sinners in need of a Savior. The Bible says that all have sinned and have fallen short of the glory of God. God wrote this Bible so that we would read it and I want to encourage you do to so. Your life may depend upon it.
John: I will. As a matter of fact, I will read it right now. I have been locked out of my apartment.
Me: I placed a gospel tract at the beginning of the book of John, start reading from there.

Crazy thing, isn't it? I had a Bible and a young man named John did not have one. He does now. Please pray for John.
