It would be difficult to forget the nickname of the man I met today because it was tattooed in red on the back of his neck. He called himself, Chronic. Chronic had been out of prison for about a week. He didn't talk much, but he would answer my questions. I asked Chronic if he knew Jesus and he informed me that he did. I then questioned, "How do you know him?" He replied, "He is my Savior." Chronic had a personal relationship with Jesus and expressed that he is now living in apartments furnished by a nearby church. He is getting treatment for addictions and expressed a desire not to return to prison, again. I encouraged Chronic to stay in the word and then shared with him why I love Jesus: Roman 5:8.
